About the Ezybill (email delivery) facility

This information is for persons who register to receive the Wyndham City Council Rates Notices or Animal Notices via Email (EzyBill).

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the facility to receive the above-mentioned notices including the use of information provided by the facility.

Terms and Conditions

By accessing the facility, you agree to the following:

1. Wyndham City Council has an arrangement with EzyBill to electronically deliver Rates Notices or Animal Notices via this facility.
2. The information available from this facility (which includes downloadable material) is subject to copyright and is protected by laws of Australia and other countries through international treaties.
3. Any links to third party websites or software on this site are provided solely as a convenience to you and such links should not be taken to imply any type of association, sponsorship, endorsement, monitoring, approval of, or responsibility for, the linked site or its content. These sites may be located in jurisdictions outside Australia and be subject to license or other types of agreements, policy and legislation relating to those sites. Should you decide to access any of the third-party sites, you do so entirely at your own risk and Wyndham City Council shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, expenses, injuries or damage arising from that access.
4. If you choose to use the facility you must first register with, and provide your details to, EzyBill and agree to the EzyBill Terms and Conditions of use.
5. Upon your request to receive the nominated Rates Notices or Animal Notices via the facility you acknowledge and agree:
   1. You are the property owner or liable for responding to and making payment of the Rates Notices and you will share this electronic Rates Notices with other persons so named as required; or
      
      You are the animal owner or liable for responding to and making payment of the Animal Notices
   2. To receive the Rates Notice or Animal Notice electronically and recognise that neither a paper copy nor other electronic Rates or Animal Notice will continue to be issued.
   3. You will not be charged a fee by Wyndham City Council for accessing a copy of your Rates Notice or Animal Notice in EzyBill;
   4. It may take up to one Rates Notice cycle for your EzyBill registration to take effect;
   5. By using this facility, the Rates Notice or Animal Notice will be deemed to have been delivered, presented, received and viewed by you once it has been received by EzyBill and that you will not otherwise receive Rates or Animal Notices;
   6. If you cease to own the property/move from the property or cease t own the animal you will need to unsubscribe your EzyBill registration for that property or animal. Wyndham City Council will cancel your registration for the property or animal when advised of a change of ownership.
   7. Wyndham City Council is not responsible for any delivery delays or failures by the facility;
   8. Wyndham City Council has the right to cease the arrangement to deliver Rates Notices or Animal Notices via EzyBill at which time the Rates or Animal Notice will be sent as paper copies by post;
   9. You may unsubscribe for this facility at any time, but you may continue to receive Rates or Animal Notices in your EzyBill for up to 30 days after you have unsubscribed while we process your request.
   10. Not all communications from Wyndham City Council will utilise EzyBill, you will still receive paper communications by post for other official communications;
   11. These conditions and terms of use may be modified at any time by Wyndham City Council and you agree to continue to be bound by the terms of use as modified. Wyndham City Council will give you notice of these changes by publishing new terms and conditions of use available through EzyBill. Wyndham City Council will not separately notify you of these changes.
